Pending Setup: MX Error

If the domain used for Workspace Email has incorrect MX records, you'll see this error message:

Pending Setup: MX Error

To resolve this error, correct your domain's MX records.

  1. First, find your correct MX records.
  2. Edit your MX records where your domain is registered:
  3. After you change your MX records, resubmit your domain name for MX record validation. Next to Pending Setup: MX Error, select Retry.
