Move or Copy WordPress files to another folder
If you built a test or development WordPress site, then you may need to move it from one folder to another on your hosting account before it's ready for visitors. You have two options for moving your WordPress site:
- Call our support number and one of our experts can do it for you for a fee.
- Do it yourself following the instructions in the tables below.
Note: It's important to understand that a WordPress site is a combination of files and a database. This service relates only to the files that are part of the site, not the whole site.
