Spider Trainers has been the sum of all the [favorite] parts of my career: entrepreneur, author, marketer, marketing-data analyst, and business manager. As an entrepreneur for more than 30 years, much of my time has been spent in the sales funnel — converting prospects to customers. With today’s unprecedented visibility into marketing analytics, I am enjoying the pursuit of data more than ever. Our strategy for helping small businesses is to create a search-engine and mobile-friendly website as a foundation for all of their marketing efforts. With the launch of their new website, we focus on the company’s brand recognition with online and offline campaigns such as social media postings, search-engine advertising, social-media advertising, drip and nurture email marketing, direct-mail marketing, and more. We believe this holistic approach is the best way to help businesses gain traction and surface to the top of search-engine results. I have authored hundreds of articles, case studies, and ebooks; dozens of after-market computer guidebooks; and two full-length video training series—nearly all for the small- to medium-sized business owner. I have presented on similar topics for companies such as the American Marketing Association, Target Marketing Magazine, WooCommerce, WordCamp, Salesforce, and many others. Helping entrepreneurs is important to me. I am chairman of the board of the Pinetop-Lakeside Chamber of Commerce. My role at the chamber provides ample opportunity to make a difference in the economic landscape of the White Mountains of Arizona. As much as making a global difference drives me, it is the individual business owner that highlights the difference my company can make and I’m always up for that conversation.
