WordPress Memory Limit Not Updating

Hello. Currently the theme that I am using for Wordpress requires the WP Memory Limit to be set at 128mb. My settings in the wp-config.php file are as follows:

/** New revisions dated 08DEC16 */

define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' );

define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' );

define(‘WP_DEBUG’, false);

define('WP_POST_REVISIONS', 2);

define('AUTOSAVE_INTERVAL', 300 ); // the value should be in seconds!

I currently run cPanel and ultimate hosting. Does GoDaddy allow users to alter the WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT ?

Helper III

hello @p1ar,

A user can not exceed the limits set by a sudo. You will need to have GoDaddy modify your accounts PHP ini configuration.

You could try editing your .htaccess file (set values accordingly)

php_value upload_max_filesize 1000M
php_value post_max_size 2000M
php_value memory_limit 3000M
php_value max_execution_time 180
php_value max_input_time 180

please note that, i offer direct support that is in no way associated with GoDaddy's regular support channels; but, for immediate technical support you can contact me at:
