For the last week or so, I have been unable to upload images to my WordPress site. Every image I try to upload looks like this:
I have tried to change the folder permissions for Uploads and the 2017 subfolder, but it doesn't help.
How can I fix this upload issue?
Will I need to check permissions on every single file I try to upload? That would be ridiculous, and something I've never had to do with any other WordPress site.
I am on cPanel and uploading .jpg images, which are definitely supported.
Thanks.
Any helpful suggestions??
@jpyron Have you installed an SSL certificate? Or changed something in the DB config? Because in the screenshot you posted it looks like a broken link to the image.
Have you installed any new plugin(s) that deal with images?
If not, try to go to /wp-admin/options-media.php and check that the upload path is correct, and save the settings, and try uploading again.
Hope it helps!
Can not have an SSL affect whether I can upload images? Will it be possible once I have the SSL?
