Hi,
I just bought an SSL cert from GoDaddy. The technical supporter setup everything for me. But when I connect to my site (naivecat.com), the browser display error message "Invalid name of certificate. Either the name is not on the allowed list, or was explicitly excluded.".
I checked my site with sslshopper & ssllabs & got the same error message:
https://www.sslshopper.com/ssl-checker.html#hostname=naivecat.com
https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=naivecat.com
What should I do?

Hi,
I looked at the website and its certificate name is "*.prod.sin2.secureserver.net" so your new certificate is not active yet.
I'm not sure whether the support helped you to get a certificate or install it as well but the latter hasn't been completed. If you use cPanel, you can check the active certificate - steps are at: https://uk.godaddy.com/help/manually-install-an-ssl-certificate-on-my-cpanel-hosting-12027

I've worked around (not only) SSL security for over 20 years in enterprises and startups.
I am now running an HTTPS expiry management service KeyChest.net
