SSL Certificate not working on subdomain

Hi,

I've puchased a SSL Certificate through Godaddy (Self-Managed Standard SSL DV) to put on a domain also hosted on Godaddy.

It works well on the domain (even with www. subdomain!!?) but it doesn't work on any subdomains, the browser throws a warning like this:

On Firefox:

{DOMAIN} uses an invalid security certificate.
The certificate is not trusted because it is self-signed.
Error code: MOZILLA_PKIX_ERROR_SELF_SIGNED_CERT

On Chrome:

NET::ERR_CERT_INVALID

Is this something I can fix? Or that type of certificate doesn't include subdomains?

It didn't say much information on the checkout page...

Thanks.

Generally speaking unless you've purchased a wild card certificate it only covers the root and www.
