I can't get GoDaddy's SSL Certificate issuing service to deliver what I want:
1) I build the Certificate Request to have "webmail.exampledomain.com" as the primary domain. (This is verified by using the SSL tools on GoDaddy's Site)
2) I receive the completed Certificate from GoDaddy, and install it.
3) When examining the received certificate, I get the Primary domain as: exampledomain.com, and the Subject Alt Domains as exampledomain.com, and www.exampledomain.com
4) after installing the certificate on the server, I get the same results
This situation delivers the "Domain does not match hostname" certificate error when attempting to access the server via web browser.
I have gone through at least 10 iterations of this and have reached the end of my ideas.
Anyone out there experienced this before?
